Paul Mozell is a Boston area photographer who wears many hats. With over 25 years of experience as a pro, and a lifetime of immersion in the art and craft of photography he handles a wide variety of projects and assignments.
His Wedding and Portrait Photography style is primarily photo-journalistic with a knack for catching special moments. Paul is able to blend in with a crowd to get spontaneous, candid photographs, and then turn around to photograph a dancing couple facing the camera and laughing. Similarly, Paul believes that the best bride & groom photographs can be posed, or, completely spontaneous. Success with the formal family groupings is often a factor of getting everyone together to do the poses in about a half an hour. Everyone wants to be back socializing as soon as possible!
Nature and Landscape Photography
In addition to photographing people and the important events in their lives, Paul continues his lifelong devotion to nature and landscape photography. His vision is deeply rooted in a lifetime of hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing and skiing in the American wilderness. With backpacking gear and a pack full of cameras and lenses he has recorded the landscapes of New Hampshire's White Mountains, New York's Adirondacks, the Wind River Range of Wyoming, the Rockies of Colorado and Montana, the red-rock territories of Utah and Arizona, and John Muir's Sierras. His work is available as licensed stock photography, and he welcomes assignments. He is proud of his long-term relationship with The Appalachian Mountain Club which has published with work in numerous publications for over 30 years.
